Surf’s Up
Stick sunscreen for surfers and sunshine-seekers.
I challenged myself to learn and practice Adobe CC skills by creating Surf’s Up, a consumer product brand specializing in stick sunscreen. With Illustrator, I practiced logo creation, advertisement designs, and pattern creation. I used Photoshop to create some physical mockups, as well as Figma to show what the brand’s social media presence could look like. Once I had my final graphics, I used Fusion 360 to create basic 3D models as potential brand packaging and incorporated them into my designs.
Logo Color Variations
Here is the main logo I designed with varying color combinations using the brand colors.

Brand Pattern
I made this brand pattern keeping in mind things that prospective customers would come into contact with when using the product. Bikinis, swim trunks, and surfboard fins would likely be jumbled alongside the stick sunscreen inside a hefty beach bag en route to the users’ destinations.
Packaging
Surf’s Up creates stick sunscreen products that use paper product packaging instead of single-use plastic. The sunscreen tubes are made of a paper blend that acts as a durable and firm exterior to the sunscreen product. The product is pushed through the bottom of the tube as it is being used down.
